His Greater Works Ministry

In December 2008 we traveled to Pennsylvania with Board members Doug and Lois White. Our tour was centered around Lancaster County, home of a large population of Mennonite and Amish families.

We were touched by the charm and simplicity of these gentle people. I have often wondered how they seem to prosper with such strict religious perameters, but that rigidity appears to be the glue that holds their communities together.

We stayed an extra day so that we could visit the city of Philadelphia, home of so much of our early American history. What a delight it was to be able to stand next to the Liberty Bell and walk through Independence Hall. Every American should be required to do this at least once in his lifetime.
